Course Overview
According workplace safety and health (scaffold regulation) 2011 reg. 6 it is a legal requirement that, it shall be the duty of the responsible person to appoint a scaffold supervisor who has successfully completed a training course to equip him to be a scaffold supervisor and competent to perform the function and duties of construction, erection, installation, re-positioning, alteration, maintenance, repair or dismantling of a scaffold in a workplace
At end of the Course, Participants will acquire good knowledge & skill in:
Knowledge
- WSH(Scaffold) Regulation and CP14:1996 (code of practice for scaffold)
- Risk management Regulation 2006
- Work at heights regulations 2013
- Types of scaffold systems and their characteristics
- Criteria for selection of scaffolds
- Terminology used in scaffolds as well as it components and materials
- Tools, equipment and PPE used in scaffold activities
- Identify and explain the material and work platform requirement
- Able to conduct hazard identification of scaffold erection and dismantling

All workers involved in supervising scaffold erection and dismantling work activities in construction and other industries. | Must be over 18 years of age Singapore citizen, permanent resident or holder of valid employment pass / work permit. Must by physically and mentally fit for the training. Participants are requiring to wear their Safety Boots for the practical Performance.Participants must have to provide a copy of their scaffold erector’s certificate | Participants of this course are advised to have at least Basic English knowledgeNote: Participants are required to submit a copy of highest education certificate at time of application |
Course Details
Course Duration: 75 Hours include of 6 hour assessment
Day Class: 9 full days / 9 Sundays (08.30am to 6.30pm)
Evening Class: 19 Evenings (06:00pm to 10:00pm)
Course Attendance Record: 100% attendance

Results will be released within 1 week after course ends. Upon Successful completion of the course, a Safety Pass and Certificate of Achievement endorse by Fonda Global Engineering Pte ltd will be issued to all eligible participants.
