  • Candidates are required to install 2 parts of test project, Part 1 followed by Part 2;
  • Part 1 of test project comprises of forming dia. 2” uPVC pipe with fittings in accordance to test profile for leakage test;
  • Part 2 of test project comprises of plumbing & sanitary pipes/fittings installation, inclusive of copper pipes/fittings, 4” uPVC pipes/fittings, wash basin w/tap, tap points, shower point, WC;
  • Candidates to complete the test projects in safe working manners and in accordance to installation criteria and tolerances within 4 hrs.

  • General knowledge of Cold water systems and fittings;
  • General knowledge of Sanitary plumbing and venting system;

  • Express Course: 1 Day (8.30am-5.30pm)
  • Full Courses: 8 Days (8.30am-5.30pm)
  • Trainees will be briefed on BCA Assessment Criteria for Test Project;
  • Trainers will provide detailed explanation and demonstration on the correct method and sequence of installing the various parts of the test project, to meet the test requirements and tolerances;
  • Trainees will learn how to control the project dimensions and install all the required fittings in proper sequence and tolerances, and ensuring no leakages during water test;
  • At the end of training, trainees should be able to acquire the necessary skills to install the various parts of the test project in safe working manner, and in accordance to test requirements, within the test duration of 4 hrs.

    • suitable for workers involving in plumbing & sanitary pipefitting installation works;
    • Must passed both written and practical test to be qualified as CoreTrade personnel (Foreman/ Tradesman).
