- 1 day (8.30am-5.30pm)
- Test project comprises of fixed module structure 2800x1000x2900(H), with a wall, a column, and a beam;
- Trainees will be briefed on BCA Assessment Criteria for Test Project;
- Trainers will provide detailed explanation and demonstration on the correct method and sequence of installation of the formwork structure and the supporting false works;
- Trainees will learn how to set-out the project, install the pre-fabricated timber kickers, transfer levels, control project level & dimensions, verticality, squareness, assembled the prefabricated formwork panels, method of nailing, method of clamping and bracing;
- Trainees will be grouped in pairs to practice on the formwork installation and dismantling;
- At the end of trainings, trainees should be able to assembled the test project in correct sequence and method, understand the proper clamping, nailings & bracing method, and understand the proper setting out of falseworks and working platform for beam, etc within 5 Hr.
